HOYAT Folk Dance Club was established in 1999 by Ali Metin in İstanbul, Turkey.

The main goals of the association is to preserve and maintain Turkish traditions and to pass the unique cultural heritage on to the next generations, because, the future wouldn't be as creative and promising without the appreciation of the past. Our aim is meet cultures together religions, languages, lineages.

We represented the Turkish Cultures in several important national and international festivals and programmes during the past years.
National : Diyarbakır, Antalya, Artvin, Van...
International : Spain, Greece, France, Italy...

Through the past decades, HOYAT has often been awarded with trophies from the world's greatest folklore shows and festivals.
We won the championship prize at Golden Steps Competition on TV in the summer of 2008.
